A live system event alarming tool

The Tollring Alarms module allows the alarming of events on the pbx.  i.e. if a certain number or type of number is called the system will generate a popup alarm and/or an email alarm.

Alarms can be generated for any of, or combination of the following:

Extension number, Unanswered calls

Transferred calls, Incoming calls

Outgoing calls, Trunk activity

Call duration, Ring time

Call cost, CLI, etc..

The Alarm Wizard makes creating new or editing existing alarms simple.  You are taken step-by-step through the various criteria available for the alarm to be created.

The wizard uses intelligent filtering so that you avoid irrelevant choices based on the type of alarm being scheduled.

There are 3 types of alarms that can be configured. Event Alarms and Total Alarms and Group Alarms.

1. Event Alarms - These alarms deal with specific call records.

A single alarm can be configured for All extensions or a single extension that have\has made an outgoing call where:

Calls to a specific number (truncated number can also be set - e.g. calls to 0033- alarms on all calls to France)

The cost of the call exceeded the specified cost

Calls made that have call duration longer than specified duration

The call has been routed over a particular trunk\channel

All extensions or a single extension that have\has received an incoming call where:

The call was answered\unanswered whereby the answer time exceeded a specified time

The call was received from a specific number (truncated numbers can also be set)

The call has been routed over a particular trunk\channel

2. Total Alarms - These alarms are triggered when a specified total number of calls is reached.

A single alarm can be configured for all extensions or a single extension and:

When a specified number of Incoming calls is exceeded or

When a specified number of outgoing calls is exceeded or

When a specified total call duration is exceeded or

When a specified total number of answered incoming calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of unanswered incoming calls is exceeded or

When the specified Average Answer time of incoming calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of local calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of national calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of international calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of mobile calls is exceeded or

When a specified total number of 'special number' calls is exceeded

3. Group Alarms - These are like Total Alarms but work in conjunction with the Call Monitor module.

Call Monitor is able to monitor in real time up to 10 groups of 50 extensions. Total alarms can be defined for any of these groups
