eSafe
eSafe is a reliable, cost effective method
of ensuring field engineer safety without having to be in constant
contact with them. The system utilises existing telecommunications
equipment and therefore does not require costly investment in new
technology.
eSafe runs on your Intranet and allows
controllers to monitor the safety of their field engineers. The system
uses the engineer mobile telephone number to register their current
status.
eSafe utilises voicemail ports that have
been specifically configured for each required status. For example,
ports can be set up to represent an engineer login to the system,
refresh, logout and an emergency status. Engineers have these numbers
pre-programmed in their mobile phones and are required to report into
the system on a regular basis. An escalation status indicates whether an
engineer has not reported in for a given period.
Tollring eSafe messaging module gives
controllers the ability to SMS message an engineer with work details.
When a task is completed a return text is sent.
Currently eSafe is being successfully used
to monitor 800 engineers for a leading global lift manufacturer.
eSafe can be scaled to monitor from as few
as 10 engineers.
