Tollring Expands CX Capabilities with Acquisition of Code Software and Clobba brands and intellectual property
Tollring is excited to announce that we have acquired Code Software, including the Clobba brands and all intellectual property rights. We will also be welcoming the team from Code into the business to support our brands’ continued success.
Code Software and the Clobba brands are renowned for their call analytics built natively for Microsoft Teams. The acquisition brings together two major forces in the communications analytics space, driving global presence and market share, and affirming Tollring’s continued strategic focus on analytics and recording.
Backed by Amity Group (Amity AI Holdings), which in March announced a $100M Series D funding round, the acquisition will help Tollring to fulfil our ambition of evolving our communications software solutions with new Generative AI capabilities, delivering differentiated value to our joint partner and end-customer communities. In addition, this transaction will help Tollring accelerate our international expansion plan and better support our partners and end-customers across the globe.
By bringing Code Software’s capabilities into Tollring, customers will benefit from:
- Accelerated innovation in communications analytics and recording solutions
- Enhanced AI-powered solutions for Microsoft Teams
- Expanded global sales support across the UK, EU, US and ANZ market
As part of the transaction, Mark Armstrong, CEO of Code Software, will join Tollring as Chief Sales Officer. Mark commented,
“The transition to Tollring should be very smooth because of the strong cultural alignment between our businesses and strategic alignment in our products. I am excited to join the Tollring management team and look forward to heading up sales as CSO, under Tony’s leadership.”
Tony Martino, CEO of Tollring, commented,
“Tollring has experienced steady and impressive growth over the past few years, driven by a positive and collaborative workplace environment alongside a clear, customer-centric product approach. Looking ahead, we’re entering an exciting new phase, where we can scale our offerings and create even greater value for both customers and partners. We welcome Mark and his people to the next chapter of our journey!”
The transaction marks Amity's fifth acquisition and reconfirms its Build-Buy-Bridge strategy, combining in-house AI innovation, targeted acquisitions of strategic software assets, and cross-portfolio integration to accelerate the commercialisation of enterprise AI solutions worldwide.
